Our History
Located in Plaza José Palomo in Marbella’s old town, Barril del Gusto is a restaurant born out of a passion for authentic cuisine. Under the direction of Amador Hernández, a restaurateur with decades of experience in Granada and on the Costa del Sol, we have created a space where tradition and innovation coexist in perfect harmony.
Our culinary offering is based on the rich Mediterranean diet, with a particular focus on fresh, seasonal produce. From elaborate tapas to imaginative fish dishes and legendary red meats, every dish is a memorable experience.
One of the things we are most proud of is our selection of over 30 wines by the glass, available via our tasting menu. These include both Spanish and international wines, all of the highest quality and suitable for all tastes.
